Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate inbound leads from students and parents looking for study-abroad financing.
- Assess applicant profiles (academic background, target country, university, co-applicant income, collateral availability) against specific credit and underwriting guidelines across 14+ partner financial institutions.
- Determine the best-fit loan scheme (secured vs. unsecured, public bank vs. private bank/NBFC) tailored to the student's eligibility.
- Act as the direct bridge between students and bank authorities/loan processing cells to submit files, follow up on pending queries, and expedite file movement.
- Escalate processing delays or special policy exceptions to team leads or regional bank heads to clear approval hurdles.
- Maintain proactive follow-ups every few days to update applicants on status and keep loan files moving smoothly.
