Patient Dining Associate

About the Role
This role is responsible for providing patient dining services at an OhioHealth care site.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide services including helping patients make menu selections, assembling, delivering, and picking up meal trays.
- Ensure meals are accurate and delivered at the right time and temperature to meet patient safety and satisfaction goals.
- Complete patient meal orders, assemble, distribute, and retrieve meal trays in a timely manner.
- Maintain clear and accurate communications with dietitians, nursing, and all OhioHealth associates.
- Professionally interact with patients, visitors, and associates to meet or exceed preset service standards.
- Clean and stock work stations, pods, and kitchen areas as assigned.
- Use computer software systems to enter preferences, print reports, labels for nourishments, and diet order change sheets.
- Prepare and deliver nourishments, floor stocks, and late trays.
- Record temperatures of unit refrigerators.
- May be assigned to assist in other areas of the department as needed.
- Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in performing job duties.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Computer software systems (for entering preferences, printing reports, labels, and diet order changes)
Qualifications
- No Degree or Diploma required.
- Individuals aged 16-18, without a High School Diploma/GED with an applicable work permit may be considered.
