Role: Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment across all company operations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections.
- Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions to prevent incidents.
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
- Coordinate safety training sessions.
- Ensure compliance with local occupational health and safety regulations.
- Investigate accidents and near-miss events.
- Prepare detailed reports.
- Work with management to implement preventive measures.
- Collaborate with security teams.
- Maintain safety documentation.
- Engage with employees to build a strong safety culture.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Health & Safety and Occupational Health principles, standards, and regulations.
- Accident Investigation and incident reporting.
- Root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
- Security practices related to workplace safety and risk mitigation.
- Ability to design and deliver effective Safety Training programs.
- Familiarity with safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency response planning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Proactive approach to hazard identification.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Prior experience as a Safety Officer or similar role.
Qualifications
- Relevant certification or diploma in occupational health and safety, industrial safety, or a related field.
- Experience preferably in technology, industrial, or corporate environments.
