About the Role

We are looking for a recently qualified Chartered Accountant to join our Assurance team as a Fresher – Statutory Audit. The candidate will gain hands-on experience in statutory audits, financial reporting, internal controls, and assurance assignments under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing statutory audit assignments.
• Examine books of accounts, ledgers, financial statements, and supporting documents.
• Perform audit procedures, analytical reviews, and variance analysis.
• Assist in verifying financial statement balances, transactions, assets, and liabilities.
• Prepare and maintain audit working papers and documentation.
• Review financial statements for compliance with applicable Accounting Standards and Ind AS.
• Assist in internal control testing, process walkthroughs, and identifying control gaps.
• Coordinate with client finance teams to collect audit-related information and documents.
• Identify unusual transactions and escalate potential audit issues to senior team members.
• Develop practical knowledge of Standards on Auditing, the Companies Act, and relevant statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial reporting.
• Basic knowledge of Ind AS, Accounting Standards, and Standards on Auditing.
• Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail, professional integrity, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
