About the Role
The Junior Video Editor will support the creation of engaging video content for a variety of campaigns and digital platforms. This is a full-time, on-site role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembling raw footage.
- Trimming and sequencing clips.
- Synchronizing audio.
- Adding basic transitions and effects in line with creative briefs and brand guidelines.
- Collaborating closely with senior editors, designers, and the creative team to refine edits, incorporate feedback, and maintain consistent visual storytelling.
- Organizing media assets.
- Exporting deliverables in required formats.
- Supporting simple motion graphics and color adjustments as needed.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in Adobe AfterEffects.
- Skills in Premiere Pro - Video Editing and Video Production.
- Skills in Video Color Grading.
- Skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics.
- Basic knowledge of industry-standard editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools).
- Familiarity with audio editing and file management best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow creative direction.
- Openness to feedback in a collaborative team environment.
- Good time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Relevant coursework, certification, or a diploma in film, media, design, or a related field.
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing work.
