About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated HR Intern to support our people team across recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement. You’ll work directly with the founders, with real ownership and visibility into how hiring decisions are made in a growing company.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with the founders to understand hiring needs, define role requirements, and prioritize open positions.
- Share regular hiring updates, candidate shortlists, and pipeline reports with the founders.
- Sit in on selected interviews and debriefs, and help refine hiring criteria.
- Source candidates on LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, and college networks.
- Screen resumes and conduct first-round calls to assess fit.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate with candidates and hiring managers.
- Draft and post job descriptions on job boards.
- Maintain candidate trackers and recruitment data in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Support onboarding: documentation, welcome kits, and induction coordination.
- Help plan employee engagement activities and campus outreach drives.
- Assist with HR documentation, records, and basic HR reporting.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Pursuing or recently completed a BBA, MBA (HR), BA, B.Com, or any related degree.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills (English and Hindi).
- Comfortable communicating with founders and senior leadership, and taking feedback quickly.
- Ownership mindset: you follow through without needing constant reminders.
- Comfortable making calls and talking to candidates.
- Good with Excel or Google Sheets and basic MS Office.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Eager to learn, with a professional attitude and respect for confidentiality.
Good to Have
- Prior internship or project experience in HR or recruitment.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter or an ATS.
- Interest in talent acquisition and people operations.
What You’ll Gain
- Direct mentorship and exposure to the founders’ decision-making.
- Hands-on experience across the full recruitment cycle.
- Internship certificate and a letter of recommendation based on performance.
