Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript and Playwright.
• Execute tests on cloud device/browser grids like LambdaTest or BrowserStack.
• Perform API testing, including building requests and validating responses.
• Utilize APIs for test data setup.
• Verify test data using SQL.
• Conduct manual and exploratory testing.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong JavaScript (Node.js) experience.
• Hands-on expertise with a modern browser automation tool such as Playwright or Cypress.
• Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber/Gherkin.
• Solid understanding of e-commerce user flows (browsing, cart, checkout, account, returns).
• Experience running tests on cloud device/browser grids (e.g. LambdaTest, BrowserStack).
• Comfortable reading/writing SQL for test data verification.
• Strong manual/exploratory testing skills.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflow and CI/CD.
