About the Internship

We are looking for a curious and motivated Ethical Hacking Intern who wants to learn cybersecurity through hands-on exploration, research, documentation, and presentations. This is a learning-focused internship rather than a conventional 9-to-5 role. You will have significant freedom in how you organize your work and learning. There is no expectation that you sit online for fixed hours or are constantly monitored. The idea is simple: Explore → Experiment → Document → Present → Learn.

You will be encouraged to explore CEH v13 or the latest available CEH curriculum, investigate its modules and related cybersecurity topics, practice concepts in authorized environments, document what you discover, and present your findings.

Internship Details

  • Unpaid internship
  • 100% remote
  • Fully flexible schedule
  • No fixed working hours
  • Non-micromanaged working environment
  • Work at your own pace and organize your learning independently.
  • Regular communication will primarily focus on your progress, findings, and presentations rather than monitoring your hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Explore CEH v13 / the latest CEH curriculum and its modules.
  • Study and understand ethical hacking and cybersecurity concepts.
  • Perform hands-on experimentation in authorized labs and controlled environments.
  • Explore cybersecurity tools, techniques, methodologies, and technologies.
  • Research topics beyond the curriculum when they are relevant or interesting.
  • Document your learning through technical notes, reports, walkthroughs, and summaries.
  • Present the topics and techniques you have explored.
  • Explain technical concepts clearly to the team.
  • Share interesting discoveries, observations, and lessons learned.
  • Build a structured collection of your cybersecurity research and learning.
  • Continuously develop your technical and communication skills.

Requirements & Tech Stack

  • An interest in ethical hacking and cybersecurity.
  • Basic networking knowledge.
  • Basic understanding of operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Linux is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
  • Ability to research topics independently.
  • Good documentation and communication skills.
  • Willingness to present and explain what you have learned.
  • A responsible and ethical approach to security research.

How the Internship Works

There are no rigid daily task lists or fixed working hours. You may be given a broad topic, CEH module, or area to explore. You are then expected to take ownership of the learning process. The emphasis is on understanding, not simply completing assignments. We value initiative and curiosity. If you discover an interesting related topic while researching something else, you're encouraged to explore it.

Learning & Growth

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build practical cybersecurity knowledge while developing professional habits. You will get experience with:

  • Ethical hacking concepts and methodologies
  • Cybersecurity tools
  • Security research
  • Hands-on experimentation
  • Technical documentation
  • Technical presentations
  • Independent learning
  • Communicating technical concepts
  • Building a personal cybersecurity knowledge base

The internship can also give you material and experience that you can use to demonstrate your learning and growth in your future cybersecurity career.

The Working Environment

You will not be micromanaged. There is no requirement to remain online for a fixed number of hours. What matters is: What did you explore? What did you learn? What did you document? What can you explain? You are responsible for managing your own time and making meaningful progress.

Important Ethical & Security Requirement

All security testing and experimentation must be performed only on systems, applications, networks, and environments where explicit authorization has been provided. The purpose of this internship is to learn ethical hacking responsibly. Any experimentation involving third-party systems without authorization is strictly outside the scope of the internship.
