About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site Embedded Engineer role based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize embedded software for UAV platforms and avionics.
- Ensure reliable performance in mission-critical environments.
- Write and test firmware.
- Integrate sensors and communication modules.
- Perform debugging and root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, and flight operations teams.
- Participate in system architecture discussions.
- Improve software development practices.
- Support field trials and validation of drone systems.
- Maintain documentation.
- Follow quality and safety standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement across EnerComp’s product portfolio.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Embedded Software Programming
- Embedded Software for real-time systems
- Software Development
- Debugging for low-level and application-level code
- Internet of Things (IoT) for connected devices, telemetry, and remote monitoring
- C/C++
- Microcontroller-based development (e.g., ARM, STM32)
- RTOS or bare-metal programming (beneficial)
- Communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN) (advantageous)
- Wireless technologies (advantageous)
- Sensor integration (advantageous)
Qualifications
- Familiarity with UAVs, robotics, or aerospace systems (a plus)
- Exposure to safety-critical or high-reliability environments (a plus)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Ahmedabad Area.
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to document designs and test results clearly.
