Role Description

The Draftsperson will prepare detailed architectural and construction drawings, plans, and layouts based on design concepts and project requirements. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural and construction drawings, plans, and layouts.
• Interpret architectural sketches.
• Update drawings as per feedback.
• Coordinate with architects and designers.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
• Maintain drawing records.
• Support project documentation.
• Collaborate with site and project teams to resolve design-related queries.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Familiarity with architectural drawing standards.
• Skills in reading and interpreting architectural and structural plans.
• Ability to prepare working drawings and detailing for interiors and exteriors.
• Knowledge of building construction processes, materials, basic engineering principles, and relevant codes or regulations.
• Skills in accuracy, attention to detail, and quality checking of drawings.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Good time management and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience as a Draftsperson in an architectural or construction firm is an advantage.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling or visualization tools (e.g., SketchUp, Revit) would be beneficial.
• An interest in sustainable and innovative design practices would be beneficial.
