This role is based in Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand basics functions and specifications of items used in engineering and manufacturing.
• Process purchase requests, adding necessary information such as Commodity Code (ESN) and INCOTERMS.
• Organize, file, and maintain proper documentation of procurement and business-related matters.
• Assist in contract negotiations and contract implementation.
• Maintain close communication with key suppliers.
• Place and/or participate in the process of placing purchase orders to suppliers.
• Analyze material availability and manage purchase orders, including tracking and checking content, to ensure cost-efficient and on-time supply of materials according to demand.
• Ensure compliance with Siemens Procurement rules and usage of Siemens contract partners.
• Ensure the usage of competitive Terms & Conditions to obtain highest feasible savings.
• Evaluate vendor quotations to ensure they align with required technical and commercial specifications.
• Generate savings to contribute to business success and make results transparent.
• Cooperate with all other parties involved, passing on relevant information to improve the flow of material and value through the supply chain.
• Systematically forward all relevant procurement-related project information (e.g., updated contractual conditions, Supplier Management data) to keep project participants up-to-date.
• Research and implement tools, processes, or infrastructures to achieve best practices and lowest cost sources for assigned commodities.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Hands-on experience with SAP MM module.

Qualifications

• BE in Electrical or Electronics or similar.
• Experience – Min 2 years.
