Back End Developer

About the Role

This is an on-site internship role for a Back End Developer located in Bengaluru. The intern will collaborate with engineering teams to design, implement, and maintain server-side components and APIs that power AmIMotion’s Digital Key and RTLS platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing backend services.
• Writing efficient and secure code.
• Integrating data storage solutions.
• Supporting front-end teams through well-structured endpoints.
• Debugging, testing, and optimizing applications for performance and reliability.
• Contributing to documentation.
• Participating in code reviews.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development.
• Skills in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Programming.
• Skills in Front-End Development sufficient to understand API consumption and collaborate effectively with UI teams.
• Familiarity with at least one modern programming language (such as Java, Python, or Node.js) and common web frameworks.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and basic security and performance best practices.

• Effective communication in collaborative environments.
• Pursuing or having completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or with equivalent practical experience.
