About the Role
The Electrical Testing Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The person in this role will perform routine and specialized electrical tests on systems and equipment to verify performance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute test plans.
- Document test results.
- Identify faults or performance issues.
- Recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project and maintenance teams.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all testing activities follow industry standards and company procedures.
- Support inspections.
- Calibrate testing instruments.
- Prepare reports for internal stakeholders and clients.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong foundation in Test Engineering, including understanding of electrical testing methodologies and standards.
- Hands-on experience in Test Execution and working with electrical testing tools and instruments.
- Ability to design, review, and maintain Test Cases aligned with project and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in general Testing practices, including planning, documentation, and reporting.
- Experience in Functional Testing of electrical systems, panels, and equipment.
- Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on-site.
- Prior experience in electrical services, commissioning, or maintenance is an advantage.
