About the Role
Help make cloud spend easy to understand for clients and leadership by transforming raw data into insightful visualizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build Excel workbooks from cloud cost and consumption data using SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH, PivotTables, and dropdown-driven views.
- Create appropriate charts for various questions, including trend lines, stacked columns, budget-vs-actual, heat-maps, and share-of-spend.
- Track monthly spend against budget and identify spikes, over-budget applications, and savings opportunities.
- Prepare polished reports and short presentations for client and senior management meetings.
- Explain changes, reasons, and next steps in plain English.
- Support the team with data cleaning, quality checks, and documentation.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong Excel skills: SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH, IF, PivotTables, conditional formatting, and charts.
- A good eye for design and the ability to make data easy to understand.
- Clear communication skills; ability to explain a chart in 60 seconds to a non-technical audience.
Qualifications
- Bonus: Experience with cloud cost data (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or FinOps concepts.
