About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Web Developer Intern who can turn Figma designs into high-quality, pixel-perfect websites using WordPress and Shopify. This role is for someone who understands that good development is not just about making a website work; it is about matching the design accurately, maintaining clean code, and delivering responsive, polished experiences across devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive WordPress websites using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ensure visual accuracy in layouts, typography, spacing, colors, animations, and responsive behavior.
- Customize existing WordPress themes and Shopify stores to meet project requirements.
- Test websites across different browsers, screen sizes, and devices.
- Identify and fix layout inconsistencies, bugs, and performance issues.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver projects within agreed timelines.
- Write clean, maintainable code and follow development best practices.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with WordPress development and PHP.
- Understanding of Shopify theme development and Liquid.
- Ability to translate Figma designs into accurate, responsive web pages.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when matching designs pixel by pixel.
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Willingness to learn, troubleshoot independently, and take ownership of assigned tasks.
Good to have: Experience with custom WordPress themes, Shopify theme customization, Git, and website performance optimization.
AI Usage and Development Approach
We encourage the use of AI tools to improve productivity, explore solutions, and accelerate development. However, blindly copying AI-generated code without understanding, testing, or validating it is not acceptable. You should be able to explain your code, identify issues, debug independently, and ensure that the final output meets the required design and functionality standards.

Internship and Full-Time Opportunity
This is a 3 to 6-month paid internship designed to evaluate your technical skills, consistency, problem-solving ability, and overall performance. Candidates who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, and the ability to deliver high-quality work may be offered a full-time position upon successful completion of the internship. Full-time conversion will depend on performance and business requirements. It is not guaranteed.
