Residential designer (HRBR layout)

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Residential Interior Designer based in HRBR Layout, Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet clients to understand their lifestyle, needs, and budget.
• Translate client requirements into creative residential interior concepts.
• Prepare layout plans, mood boards, and 3D visualizations.
• Select materials, finishes, furniture, and décor.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors for timely project execution.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure design specifications are met.
• Address on-site design changes.
• Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality, client-centric interiors.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to plan residential spaces effectively, with strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design.
• Foundational knowledge of Architecture and experience working with residential layouts and building regulations.
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings and technical details for on-site execution.
• Experience in FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, including materials, finishes, and décor elements.
• Proficiency in design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
• Strong client communication and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects.
• Willingness to work on-site in Bengaluru.
• Prior experience in residential interiors, especially in Bengaluru or similar urban markets, is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
