About the Role
Aenrox Engineering is an innovation-led AI, robotics, and automation company specializing in intelligent engineering solutions. This is a remote internship role for a Computer Aided Design (CAD) Designer. The intern will support the design team by creating, updating, and managing 2D and 3D CAD models for components, assemblies, and systems used in AI, robotics, and automation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, update, and manage 2D and 3D CAD models.
- Prepare technical drawings and construction drawings.
- Refine design concepts.
- Ensure models align with engineering specifications and manufacturing requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers and researchers to translate product requirements into detailed design documentation.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback.
- Maintain organized design files.
- Assist in design reviews.
- Contribute to design improvements.
- Learn best practices in design engineering and product development workflows.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and design engineering for mechanical, robotics, or product design applications.
- Ability to create accurate technical drawing and construction drawings for components and assemblies.
- Proficiency in drawing and visual representation to communicate design ideas clearly.
- Basic knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes relevant to CAD design.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to follow design standards.
- Strong organizational skills for managing CAD files and documentation.
- Comfort working remotely, collaborating via digital tools, and receiving guidance from engineers and mentors.
- Exposure to robotics, automation, or embedded systems design is an added advantage.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or having completed a degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Product Design, or a related field.
