About the Role

The Owner role at DCB Bank is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area. This role focuses on overseeing strategic direction and operational performance for assigned business units or portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute business plans.
• Set financial and growth targets.
• Monitor key performance indicators to ensure sustainable profitability and regulatory compliance.
• Guide senior managers.
• Review risk and governance frameworks.
• Approve major initiatives and policies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across retail, SME, corporate, and digital banking.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulators, key partners, and high-value customers.
• Champion customer-centric practices.
• Champion data-driven decision-making.
• Champion continuous improvement.
• Foster an inclusive, ethical workplace culture.
• Mentor leadership teams.
• Ensure strong internal controls and adherence to RBI and internal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in banking or financial services, with experience in strategic planning, business ownership, or P&L responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of retail, SME, corporate, and digital banking products, including deposits, loans, remittances, and online/mobile banking services.
• Expertise in regulatory compliance, risk management, and governance within an RBI-regulated environment.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring using data and metrics.
• Ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships with customers, regulators, partners, and internal leadership teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence and drive organizational change.
• Track record of fostering an inclusive, non-discriminatory workplace and upholding high ethical standards.
• Master’s degree in business, finance, management, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in banking or a related discipline.
