2027 Early Career Associate Product Designer

About the Role

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company focused on transforming military capabilities with advanced technology, including autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking. This role is for an early career Associate Product Designer who will contribute to shaping experiences in the autonomous and command & control domains. The role is structured to provide learning and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of how Software Product Design shapes experiences in the autonomous and command & control domains.
• Define experiences based on an understanding of product goals, business, customer, and user needs.
• Hone visual and interaction design skills, leveraging typography, color, iconography, and layout.
• Work closely with a manager or lead to develop design communication and presentation skills.
• Present designs and concepts to cross-functional partners and stakeholders.
• Own a feature or workflow end-to-end: discovery, design, prototyping, and implementation with engineers.
• Reflect an iterative design process with work deployed to customers and users.
• Collaborate with product designers, research, product management, and engineers to understand problem spaces and define solutions.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Figma design and prototyping tools (preferred).
• 3D visualization experience (preferred).

Qualifications

• Pursuing or have recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Design (HCD, interaction, visual), or a design-related field.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities; U.S. clearance eligibility may be required.
• Able to start full time in 2027.
• Bias for action and propensity for continuous learning (preferred).
• Low-ego, high ownership, and mission-oriented (preferred).
• A desire to work on software and applications that have real-world impact (preferred).
