About the Role

Systems Engineers provide leadership for products and projects involving multi-disciplinary engineering teams, playing roles in all aspects of a product lifecycle from Concept through Market Release and Sustaining. This role is for a Systems Engineer focused on medical device robotics.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand stakeholder needs and clinical use during the Concept Phase.
• Translate stakeholder needs into concepts and new inventions.
• Ensure designs meet user needs through requirements identification and decomposition during Development.
• Utilize system engineering techniques such as traceability, architecture, modeling, trade studies, simulation, and budgeting.
• Perform system integration.
• Potentially lead the Verification effort.
• Write requirements.
• Understand methodologies.
• Understand how to integrate pieces and components to create a robotics system.
• Test development.
• Interface with the system.
• Design a product from an architecture perspective.
• Write out how a system works.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• MATLAB experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Requires an understanding and application of procedures and concepts of own discipline.
• Requires the ability to make judgments based on practice and previous experience.
