Research Operations Intern (Part-Time, Paid)

About the Role

Dialogue is hiring paid student interns to work directly with their research team in West LA.

Key Responsibilities

• Research Quality:
• Review AI-moderated interviews, assessing moderator follow-ups, participant engagement, and transcript usability.
• Flag low-quality or fraudulent participants.
• Check study setups (screeners, discussion guides, consent settings) before they go live.
• Spot-check platform-generated summaries against the interviews they originated from.
• Platform Support & Operations:
• Answer inbound questions from researchers using the platform and track recurring issues for product improvement.
• Assist with recruiting research participants, including student and specialist panels.
• Provide occasional outreach, event, and content support.

Pay and Schedule

• Rate: $25/hour for 8 to 10 scheduled hours per week.
• Location: In-office at Sawtelle, West LA.
• Schedule: Flexible blocks set around classes.
• Optional Extra Work: Additional one-off tasks available via Slack channel at $30/hour.
• Employment Type: Hourly W-2 employment.
• Start Date: Immediate. Open to fall, winter, and spring terms.
• More hours and higher pay may be available based on fit.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student, any major.
• Strong attention to detail; ability to notice when something is slightly off.
• Comfort with ambiguity and fast turnarounds.
• Desire for hands-on experience in product, research, or startups.
• Ability to be in the office at least two blocks per week.
