About the Role
This is a contract Full Stack Developer role based in Mumbai, offered in a hybrid work model.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain web applications that power FilmAmple’s location platform.
- Work across both front-end and back-end components.
- Implement user interfaces.
- Develop APIs.
- Integrate databases.
- Optimize performance.
- Ensure responsive, accessible designs.
- Debug issues.
- Collaborate with product and design teams.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Contribute to technical decisions that support scalability and reliability.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong Back-End Web Development skills:
- API design
- Database integration
- Server-side logic
- Front-End Development skills:
- Experience in modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for building responsive interfaces.
- Software Development and Full-Stack Development skills.
- Experience with version control (e.g., Git).
- Experience with testing practices.
- Experience with debugging tools.
Qualifications
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, RESTful services, and security best practices is beneficial.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code.
- Ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
- Ability to communicate clearly about technical topics.
- Prior experience building platforms or marketplaces, especially in media or entertainment, is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
