Junior Full Stack Developer

About the Role

Optiminastic is an 8-year-old, tech-driven marketing and advertising company combining creativity, data, automation, AI, and technology to deliver impactful solutions for brands. We also build smarter systems and proprietary tools to improve marketing efficiency, reporting, and business performance. We are looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer with hands-on experience in Next.js and TypeScript and a working knowledge of Python and backend development. The ideal candidate should have built practical projects beyond basic CRUD applications and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and technical fundamentals. You will work closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams to build and optimize web applications, integrate APIs, manage databases, and contribute to scalable solutions involving AI, automation, and real-time systems. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Next.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend technologies.
• Work with the Next.js App Router, server and client components, routing, and API routes.
• Build responsive, reusable, and maintainable frontend components.
• Develop backend logic and integrate APIs using Python or other relevant backend technologies.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs, third-party services, and internal application services.
• Work with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL for data storage and retrieval.
• Contribute to complex API integrations, AI-powered features, automation workflows, and real-time functionality where required.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues using systematic problem-solving.
• Write clean, modular, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Use Git and version control workflows and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with senior developers and cross-functional teams to deliver effective technical solutions.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong hands-on experience with Next.js, including familiarity with the App Router, server/client components, and API routes.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+), including types, interfaces, and error handling.
• Good understanding of React, component architecture, and modern frontend development practices.
• Working knowledge of Python, including backend logic, API development, and database integration.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, API integration, HTTP methods, and error handling.
• Good knowledge of databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure application practices.
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
• Ability to write clean, modular code and follow development best practices.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Hands-on experience with projects demonstrating technical depth beyond basic CRUD applications.
• Ability to explain project architecture, individual contributions, technical challenges, and solutions.
