Accounting & Taxation Internship in Goregaon Kh

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented accounts & tax intern for a 6-month internship under a chartered accountant. The candidate will gain practical exposure in accounting, taxation, audit, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and filing GST returns including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
• Prepare and file income tax returns (ITR).
• Calculate TDS, file returns, and perform reconciliations.
• Maintain bookkeeping records and pass accounting entries in Tally/ERP.
• Perform bank reconciliations and scrutinize ledgers.
• Support statutory and internal audit processes.
• Prepare financial statements including balance sheet and profit & loss.
• Reconcile GST 2B with books of accounts.
• Draft responses to income tax and GST notices.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance records are updated.
