About the Role

The Concord Group (TCG) advises developers, investors, public agencies, and other decision-makers to understand markets, evaluate opportunities, and make better development and investment decisions. We are building the next generation of TCG Consultants, seeking exceptional upcoming and recent college graduates with a record of academic achievement, initiative, and intellectual curiosity. Our Consultants ask the right questions, determine what matters, exercise judgment, and communicate a clear point of view.

TCG utilizes proprietary tools, new data capabilities, and AI to streamline research, allowing teams more time to interpret information, solve problems, and advise clients.

About the Experience

• Work in small teams alongside senior TCG professionals, with early exposure to developers, investors, and other real estate decision-makers.
• Analysis will help shape real projects, including what to build, who to serve, how to position it, and what the market can support.
• Assignments span markets nationally and property types including multifamily housing, mixed-use development, for-sale residential, retail, hospitality, and master-planned communities.
• Build a broad perspective on how developers and investors make decisions and see how recommendations inform those decisions.
• Work closely with experienced advisors for direct exposure to problem framing, assumption testing, and client communication when answers are uncertain.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze market, demographic, economic, and competitive data to understand development opportunities.
• Identify the story behind the data and help formulate recommendations on demand, positioning, rents, pricing, and absorption.
• Translate findings into clear exhibits, presentations, memoranda, and market studies.
• Use Excel, data platforms, mapping tools, and AI to improve efficiency and analytical quality; check sources and results.
• Conduct market research, including site visits and interviews with brokers, developers, and property managers.
• Participate in project discussions and client meetings, working with senior advisors to solve questions with no obvious answer.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving ability, with strong quantitative skills and comfort working with data.
• The ability to synthesize substantial information and move from analysis to interpretation and recommendation.
• Clear, concise writing and confident verbal communication; an interest in storytelling and client service.
• Intellectual curiosity, sound judgment, and a willingness to test assumptions and revise a view when the evidence changes.
• Initiative, resourcefulness, organization, and ownership of the quality and timeliness of your work.
• An interest in real estate, development, cities, economics, consumer behavior, or related fields.
• Relevant internships in real estate, consulting, finance, economics, planning, or analytics are helpful but not required.
• Leadership, independent projects, research, and other accomplishments can also demonstrate the qualities we seek.

Qualifications

• A strong academic record, rigorous coursework, and evidence of achievement inside or outside the classroom.

Position Details

• Location and work arrangement: Atlanta, GA; Hybrid
• Base salary: $70,000-$80,000
• Bonus and benefits: Bonus opportunity, health coverage, pension, and paid time off.
• Travel: Site visits and market research are part of the role.
