Area Manager, Fulfilment centre

About the Role

At Amazon, we are driven to be the most customer-centric company on earth. We are seeking Area Managers for our Fulfillment Centers (FCs). Your primary focus will be on the safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity of your department.

Key Responsibilities

• Review work forecasts to determine daily productivity requirements to meet building objectives.
• Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor, ensuring efficient shift operations and goal achievement.
• Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to maintain a safe work environment.
• Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and utilize Lean tools.
• Ensure your team of warehouse associates is properly trained and has their needs addressed to focus on their jobs.
• Lead change and innovation.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Direct management experience for employees and their performance.
• Experience with performance metrics and process improvement.
• Flexibility to work weekends and/or overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, OR 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or Lean techniques experience.
