About the Role
BAYADA Habilitation is seeking a Habilitation Technician to work as a Personal Support Assistant. This role involves assisting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to develop and maintain independence within their local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Build long-lasting relationships in a one-on-one setting.
- Engage clients in their favorite hobbies and activities, such as Special Olympics.
- Support clients in developing independence and achieving goals, including budgeting, socializing, shopping, using public transportation, and exercise.
- Attend to individual needs with dignity and respect.
- Ensure client safety and well-being in the home and community.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- No experience required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Passion for providing opportunities to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
- Patience, empathy, and dedication.
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $19/Hour and up based on experience.
- Weekly Pay.
- Flexible scheduling available.
- Paid training.
- Short commute times (matching you to opportunities in your community).
- Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Weekdays, Weekends available.
