FT Cashier TFM

About the Role

As a cashier at Tony's Fresh Market, you will be responsible for providing a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service. You will utilize point-of-sale equipment to register sales by scanning items, itemizing, and totaling customer purchases.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases, perform general cleaning duties, and return misplaced items to shelves.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with the store management team.
• Provide feedback to management on products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues.
• Participate in taking store inventory counts according to guidelines and monitor inventory for accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Comply with all other established company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to the direct leader.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Highly organized with a keen sense of details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Ability to handle lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting while handling products or using various equipment.
• Ability to shine in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.
• Work environment is typical of a retail store with noise levels ranging from quiet to loud.
• Ability to adapt and be comfortable in a cooler-than-normal temperature environment at the front end of the store.
• Minimal sitting is required.
