About the Role
The Research Associate will support laboratory-based research activities, including planning, executing, and documenting experiments in alignment with project goals. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai.
Key Responsibilities
- Support laboratory-based research activities.
- Plan, execute, and document experiments in alignment with project goals.
- Maintain laboratory equipment.
- Prepare reagents and samples.
- Follow standardized protocols to ensure high-quality, reproducible data.
- Collaborate with senior scientists and cross-functional teams.
- Participate in regular project meetings.
- Adhere to safety and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- MSc in Plant Science, Botany, Agriculture, or a related field.
- BSc in Plant Science, Botany, Agriculture, or a related field with a few years of relevant lab/field experience.
- Strong lab skills and attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with plant tissue culture (micropropagation, callus induction, media preparation).
Compensation: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (based on experience)
