Job Title: 2027 Intern - Experience Researcher

About the Role

As an Experience Research Intern on the Workplace Digital Experiences team, you'll help discover what tools, technology, and spaces enable Adobe's sales and customer-facing teams to do their best work, build strong customer relationships, and identify obstacles. This team designs and manages the technology behind Adobe's internal operations, including meeting spaces, customer briefing centers, and the Lab82 workplace experimentation program.

This summer, you will lead a UX research project with Adobe's global sales and customer-facing teams. Your findings will be translated into clear personas and needs, informing leadership decisions on investment.

Interns will be co-located hybrid, working between their assigned office and home.

Managers and their organization will determine the frequency of office visits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead a research study, from research questions and recruiting through a final readout with leaders across Technology Services and Sales.
  • Conduct interviews, observation sessions, and a survey with sellers, solution consultants, and customer-facing teams.
  • Partner with a data analyst to compare qualitative feedback with usage and service data.
  • Build journey maps and personas, then create a ranked list of opportunities, including concepts to test in Lab82.
  • Utilize Qualtrics, Miro, AI tools, and Adobe products for planning, analysis, and sharing research.

Requirements & Tech Stack

  • Currently enrolled full-time and pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Information Science, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Anthropology, Design, or a related field.
  • Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
  • Ability to participate in a full-time internship between May and September.
  • Experience with qualitative research methods (e.g., interviews, contextual inquiry, synthesis) through coursework, projects, or internships.
  • Experience crafting journey maps, personas, or similar research outputs.
  • Familiarity with survey design and basic quantitative analysis.
  • Clear writing and speaking skills, with the ability to translate research into decision-driving narratives.
  • Curiosity and comfort navigating open-ended problems with cross-functional teams.
  • Interest in using AI tools for research planning, analysis, and sharing.
