About the Role

• Position Summary: Sales and Operations Management Trainee
• Location: 11 Warehouse Row, Albany, NY

Key Responsibilities

• Develop consumer and commercial customer solutions for local and national accounts.
• Manage vehicle inventory, balancing fleet productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Generate new business leads and foster existing customer relationships.
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business or Marketing.
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
• Internship or related work experience in a customer-facing role preferred.
• Results oriented, attention to detail, and good time management skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability and willingness to drive Penske vehicles, including a 26’ box truck.
• Willingness to travel within the district as necessary.
• Ability to work the required schedule and at the specific location.
• Must complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation, and drug screening.
• Position is regulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and is considered safety sensitive.
• Ability to maintain a constant state of alertness and work safely.
• Ability to accept responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others.

DOT Regulations:

• Requires a current driver qualification file.
• Includes annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check.
• Requires a successfully completed DOT Physical.
• Requires a Safety Performance History records request from prior employers (last 3 years).
• CDL holders: DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and subject to FMCSA Clearinghouse review.

Pay

• $25/ hour
