Solar Engineer

About the Role

The Solar Engineer will be responsible for designing, evaluating, and optimizing solar power systems, with a focus on both technical performance and regulatory compliance. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting site assessments.
• Creating photovoltaic (PV) and electrical system designs.
• Preparing technical drawings and documentation.
• Coordinating with project managers, vendors, and on-site teams to support installation and commissioning.
• Analyzing system performance.
• Troubleshooting issues.
• Recommending improvements.
• Ensuring adherence to safety standards and local codes.
• Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to prepare proposals, cost estimates, and technical reports that support business decisions.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong knowledge of the Solar Industry and Solar Power, including current technologies, standards, and best practices.
• Skills related to Solar Systems and PV Design for residential, commercial, or industrial applications.
• Capabilities in Electrical Design, including load calculations, single-line diagrams, and compliance with relevant electrical codes.
• Proficiency in using design and simulation tools (e.g., PV design software, CAD tools, and basic electrical modeling applications).

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills, with attention to detail and safety.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field.
