About the Role

The Owner role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad, responsible for overseeing and growing Chugh CPAs, LLP operations in the local market. The Owner will provide leadership in tax, audit, and accounting engagements, ensure high-quality client service, and drive strategic business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinating with global offices and affiliates.

• Supporting staff development and continuous improvement.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong expertise in tax, audit, and accounting.
• Experience with domestic and international taxation, transfer pricing, and compliance frameworks.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, including team supervision, performance management, and talent development.
• Proven business development and client relationship management capabilities, with a focus on strategic growth and service excellence.
• Sound operational and financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and practice profitability oversight.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle complex, cross-border matters.
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, internal teams, and global stakeholders.
• Prior experience in a senior leadership role within a professional services, accounting, or consulting firm preferred.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification such as CPA, CA, or equivalent.
• Additional legal or tax specialization is highly beneficial.
