The Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including bookkeeping, ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Monitor project-related costs.
• Support internal audits.
• Maintain organized, up-to-date financial records.
• Collaborate with project teams and management to provide accurate financial reports and insights.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and basic taxation concepts.
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, and data analysis.
• Ability to manage bookkeeping, ledgers, reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable with high accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and consistency in documentation.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant academic background such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Prior experience in interior designer, infrastructure, or project-based businesses is an advantage.
• Capability to work on-site in Chennai and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
