About the Role

• Full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore.
• The role involves engaging directly with community members to explain TVK’s vision and initiatives, and promote membership or participation in TVK programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet prospective supporters.
• Conduct outreach activities.
• Maintain records of contacts and conversions.
• Coordinate with team leaders to achieve sales and engagement targets.
• Follow up with interested individuals.
• Collect feedback from the field.
• Represent TVK professionally at events, meetings, and local gatherings.
• Share insights from the community and contribute to strategies that increase membership and public support.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to engage respectfully and clearly with diverse community members.
• Basic sales and persuasion skills: Ability to explain initiatives, handle objections, and work toward measurable commission-based targets.
• Organizational and record-keeping skills: Maintaining contact lists, tracking conversions, and reporting daily activities accurately.
• Local language proficiency (Tamil) and functional English skills for effective communication.
• Customer-service mindset: Ability to listen actively, build trust, and represent TVK’s values with integrity.
• Ability to work on-site across Coimbatore neighborhoods.
• Occasional evening or weekend outreach may be required.
• Prior experience in sales, field marketing, political or social campaigns, or community outreach is beneficial but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum educational qualification: Higher secondary or equivalent.
• A diploma or degree in any discipline is an advantage.
