Junior Architect

About the Role

The Junior Architect role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Kharadi, Pune. This role involves assisting senior architects with concept development, schematic and detailed design, and preparation of drawings and 3D models. The Junior Architect will coordinate with internal design and construction teams, support project documentation, and help ensure design intent is maintained through all project stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting plans
• Participating in design reviews
• Preparing presentations
• Contributing to material selection and technical detailing
• Assisting with concept development, schematic and detailed design
• Assisting with preparation of drawings and 3D models
• Coordinating with internal design and construction teams
• Supporting project documentation
• Helping ensure design intent is maintained through all project stages
• Regular site visits to understand project constraints, monitor progress, and collaborate with consultants and vendors

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar)
• Familiarity with visualization tools
• Knowledge of Software Development and Integration as they relate to design tools, BIM, and digital workflows is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design
• Ability to translate concepts into functional, buildable solutions
• Basic Project Management skills, including task coordination, tracking timelines, and supporting documentation and reporting.
• Understanding of building materials, construction methods, and local building regulations.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams on site.
• Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback in a fast-paced design environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent professional qualification.
