Video Editor Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, energetic, and detail-oriented Video Editor Intern to join our media team onsite for a 2-month internship. This is a great opportunity to enhance your portfolio and gain real-world industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Reels & Short-Form Editing: Edit high-retention short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, TikToks) with dynamic pacing, motion graphics, sound design, and text animations.
• Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with trending audio, visual styles, hooks, and editing formats across social media platforms.
• Assembly & Trimming: Cut down raw footage into engaging stories with seamless transitions.
• Sound & Audio Enhancement: Select background music, add sound effects (SFX), adjust audio levels, and sync beats accurately.
• Subtitles & Typography: Create clear, eye-catching, animated captions/subtitles to maximize viewer retention.
• Collaboration: Work closely with content creators and marketing team members to deliver finished videos on deadline.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 2–3 months of experience editing short-form videos and Reels (portfolio or sample work required).
• Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut (Desktop), Final Cut Pro (FCP), or DaVinci Resolve.
• Visual Creativity: Strong understanding of visual pacing, frame cuts, text placement, color correction, and audio syncing.
• Portfolio: A portfolio/drive link showcasing previous Reels or short-form video projects is mandatory.
• Work Mode: Ability to work full-time onsite for the entire 2-month duration.
