Software Engineer

About the Role

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Early Career Software Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP).
• Include requirements analysis.
• Include object-oriented analysis & design.
• Include code & unit test.
• Include integration.
• Support formal test/delivery.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.
• US Citizen required; position requires a government security clearance.
• Position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering or other related degree program from an accredited college/university.

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of Agile Software Development.
• Experience or classroom knowledge with embedded software/hardware.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
