About the Role
- Full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee fabrication processes, including welding, machining, and assembly of stainless steel components.
- Ensure adherence to engineering specifications and safety standards.
- Review technical drawings.
- Coordinate with production teams.
- Monitor equipment and workflows.
- Resolve fabrication-related issues on the shop floor.
- Implement quality control procedures.
- Optimize fabrication methods for efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with project managers, maintenance teams, and quality assurance to meet project timelines and performance targets.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong Mechanical Engineering knowledge with applied experience in fabrication processes.
- Skills in Welding and Machining for stainless steel components and assemblies.
- Experience in Quality Control, including inspection, testing, and documentation of fabricated parts.
- Project Management capabilities to plan, coordinate, and track fabrication activities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Ability to use fabrication tools and measuring instruments.
- Ability to apply safety standards.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional industrial teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in heavy manufacturing or metal fabrication, especially stainless steel, is an advantage.
