About the Role

PwC’s Value Creation team provides strategic and operational advice across the deal continuum, focusing on process improvement, operations due diligence, and organization transformation, including on-ground implementation of initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and document current manufacturing processes to identify and address gaps.
• Assess manufacturing capabilities, focusing on systems and controls, processes, best practices, organizational structure, personnel skills, KPIs, and MIS.
• Conduct thorough quantitative (data mining, model creation, benchmarking, OEE/Loss Analysis/Yield analysis, Maintenance KPIs) and qualitative (industry research, business intelligence, comparative analysis) analysis to validate hypotheses and propose solutions.
• Perform detailed analysis of work processes, systems, and organizational structures using interviews, observations, and statistical techniques to identify potential improvements.
• Apply knowledge of capacity mapping, cycle times, lean manufacturing, and world-class manufacturing (WCM) principles.
• Evaluate the operations governance framework, including performance review meetings, ERP systems, and templates, to detect inefficiencies in production, maintenance, and quality processes.
• Collaborate in defining operational problems and developing hypotheses for potential solutions.
• Implement optimization changes across operations and systems, ensuring alignment with change management principles.
• Support project delivery in accordance with contractual agreements.
• Engage in business development activities, including researching potential clients, identifying value propositions, and preparing proposals.
• Establish and maintain strong client relationships, assisting in problem identification and solution development.
• Seek opportunities to deliver value to clients, ensuring high satisfaction and fostering repeat business and positive feedback.
• Continuously enhance domain knowledge in operations.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Well-developed core consulting skills: data analysis, process mapping, research, presentation, and attention to detail.
• Good understanding and working knowledge of various ERP tools, MIS, and Dashboard visualization tools.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic, and multidisciplinary environment.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills: analytical, innovative, and creative mindset.
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong Excel and PPT skills with exposure to Power BI / Alteryx.
• Competence in interacting with senior-level stakeholders.
• Aptitude to grasp new concepts and effectively produce results.
• Ability to be self-directed and an independent contributor.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Preferred Skills

• Additional industry experience working on plant sites/fields.
• Experience in delivering longer duration projects (more than 6 months).
• Keen interest in strategy and sales acceleration.
• A dedicated team player, contributing towards desired outcomes.

Qualifications

• MBA or Bachelor of Technology / Engineering.
