Accounts Receivable and Billing (ARB) Specialist

About the Role
- Opportunity with one of Akkodis' major clients.
- Contract: 24 months
- Location: San Antonio, TX
- Pay Range: $15/hour - $19/hour W2 (negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors).
Key Responsibilities
- Research customer accounts to identify billing errors, incorrect charges, and account discrepancies.
- Review account history, payment records, invoices, and consumption data to ensure billing accuracy.
- Process billing adjustments, bill reversals, rebilling, and customer account updates as needed.
- Investigate customer billing disputes, outstanding balances, and final account balances.
- Handle customer inquiries over the phone and explain billing adjustments, charges, and payment options.
- Process account updates, including move-in and move-out transactions, following established procedures.
- Research missing information and discrepancies across multiple computer systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams to investigate and resolve complex account issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation, account records, and reports.
- Assist customers with payment arrangements and outstanding balance inquiries.
- Follow established procedures and maintain accuracy while managing multiple priorities.
