About the Role

• Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is seeking a dedicated and reliable team member to join their janitorial services team.
• This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform duties according to standard procedure and the building's operating schedule.
• Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairwells, and windows.
• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors in sales floor and seating areas.
• Clean windows and mirrored surfaces; polish stainless steel surfaces.
• Dust fixtures, shelving, and products as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of customer and team member restrooms, including cleaning and monitoring.
• Complete sweeping logs as instructed.
• Operate and sanitize all equipment safely and properly.
• Adhere to all applicable health and sanitation procedures and safe work practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to lift and move containers up to 49 pounds.
• Frequent walking within and around facilities throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure and handling manuals (generally in English; Spanish may be available where required by state).
• Background check and drug test required.
• Must download and use the KBSPresence mobile app for clocking in/out and completing required training.
• Reimbursement for cell phone usage is provided for personal device use for work tasks, in accordance with applicable local law.
