DevSecOps Site Reliability Engineer, Linux

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Cloud DevSecOps Engineer. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure with a focus on security. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the secure deployment and maintenance of cloud systems, automate processes for efficiency, and contribute to incident response readiness. Additionally, you will be responsible for integrating security best practices into the development lifecycle and managing infrastructure in line with organizational requirements.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Linux: RedHat expertise and a solid understanding of system administration.
• Cloud: Good startup experience in setting up, deployment, and scaling applications on AWS or any other cloud providers. Proficiency in managing and optimizing infrastructure and cloud computing environments, specifically AWS or similar platforms.
• Databases: Basic MongoDB, MySQL. Experience working with databases and ensuring data security in cloud-based systems.
• Web Servers: Basic NGINX.
• Security: Comfortable on RedHat and CIS hardening methodologies. Ability to collaborate across teams to embed security practices in the CI/CD pipeline.
• Development: Strong experience in Software Development and understanding of DevSecOps principles.
• General Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and incident response processes is a plus.
