Key Responsibilities
- Interpreting information and curating disease-specific data from patient test requisition forms and accompanying medical records and subsequently entering pertinent details into the database.
- Interpret and enter clinical information for daily incoming cases across any specialty. Clinical information may be obtained from test requisition forms, attached medical records and pedigrees, or communications with ordering clinicians.
- Maintain clinical data records as updated information is provided.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- General knowledge of computers and navigating databases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biology - related field or equivalent healthcare or laboratory-related work experience.
- Good interpersonal/communication skills.
- Self-motivated and team-oriented.
- Strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest in genetic counseling career, and/or previous lab experience a plus.
- Previous experience working with medical records abstraction, data entry, or data management preferred.
US Pay Range: $21-$24/hr
