Denial Lead – Medical Coding

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor medical coding denial management activities.
• Analyze coding-related denials and identify recurring issues and root causes.
• Coordinate with coding, QA, and other relevant teams to improve denial resolution.
• Monitor team productivity, quality, and performance metrics.
• Provide guidance and feedback to team members to improve coding accuracy.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to reduce denial rates.
• Prepare and review performance reports and share insights with stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to client guidelines, coding standards, and quality requirements.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Relevant experience in medical coding, denial management, or coding QA.
• Prior team-handling experience is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of coding-related denials and resolution processes.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to monitor team performance and drive quality improvements.
