Data Science Intern

About the Role

The Data Science Intern role is a remote internship focused on supporting data-driven decision-making across Weskill’s training and platform initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources.
• Perform exploratory data analysis.
• Generate insights to improve course content and learner experience.
• Work with basic statistical methods.
• Assist in the development of dashboards or reports.
• Support data science projects under the guidance of senior team members.
• Collaborate with mentors and cross-functional teams.
• Document findings.
• Communicate results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Foundational knowledge of Statistics.
• Comfortable applying basic statistical concepts.
• Core Data Science skills.
• Familiarity with common tools or languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Data Analytics and Data Analysis skills for cleaning datasets, exploring trends, and drawing insights.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Python/R libraries) is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills and a structured problem-solving mindset.
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related discipline).
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn from feedback and mentorship.
