About the Role

Join our Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) and Global Medical and Health (GMH) team as a Regional Occupational Health Manager (H/F). You will play a vital role in our mission: to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of our employees across France. You will take strategic leadership of our occupational health policy in France. This role will allow you to have a significant impact on the transformation and continuous improvement of our occupational health practices, aligning your expert vision with Amazon's international standards and French regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the occupational health strategy for all our sites in France
• Act as a strategic partner to management for decisions impacting employee health
• Develop innovative prevention and health promotion programs
• Build and manage high-level partnerships with health authorities and professional organizations
• Coordinate with the team of health professionals and external occupational health providers
• Analyze health indicators and define improvement action plans
• Ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence of Occupational Health services

Position within the Organization

• Direct reporting to the Europe WHS/GMH Management
• Foster collaboration within a team of health professionals, between internal teams, and external partners
• Close collaboration with operational and HR management

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Doctorate degree and health professional with a specialization in Occupational Health / Occupational Medicine
• Clinical experience and direct knowledge of French Occupational Health legislation and requirements
• Experience in directing Occupational Health services
• Expertise in injury or illness prevention (Ergonomics, Psychosocial Risks, Environmental Risks, Industrial Hygiene), including the implementation of preventive health care programs and others
• Experience in managing first aid and emergency response services and standards
• Professional proficiency in oral and written French and English

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills (written and in-person), leadership, teamwork, analysis, judgment, and customer orientation, with results-oriented and problem-solving work methods
• Experience and ability to handle and support leader priorities, including strong writing and communication skills
• Data proficiency and results-oriented, with a project/program and analytical mindset beyond solid clinical expertise
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification level conforming to the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) in the field(s) of study: occupational health management, health sciences, health promotion, health economics, comparable studies, or higher education related to healthcare and relevant professional experience.
• Doctor or qualified Nurse
• Additional specialization/qualification in Ergonomics, Psychosocial Risks, Environmental Risks, Industrial Hygiene, or similar
• Experience in Health Management in a logistics, manufacturing, or production environment
• A creative mind and proven ability to solve problems innovatively
