About the Role
We’re looking for a Junior Web Developer to work closely with our Senior Developer on improving and maintaining our website. You’ll focus on front-end quality: page speed, clean CSS, and making sure every page looks and works right across devices and browsers. This is a hands-on role with lots of room to learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Fix layout and device-compatibility issues across mobile, tablet, and desktop
- Build and maintain page templates (location pages, service pages, blog, portfolio, and home page)
- Improve page speed and Core Web Vitals (image optimization, lazy loading, minifying CSS/JS, reducing render-blocking resources)
- Write clean, reusable, responsive CSS
- Test pages across browsers and devices and resolve bugs quickly
- Support the Senior Developer with ongoing website updates and improvements
Requirements & Tech Stack
- 0–2 years of experience in front-end or web development (freshers with strong projects are welcome)
- Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Good understanding of responsive design and media queries
- Familiarity with page speed tools such as Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, or GTmetrix
- Comfortable using browser DevTools to debug layout and performance issues
- Attention to detail and an eye for pixel-perfect design
- Willingness to learn and take feedback
Nice to Have:
- Experience with WordPress / Webflow / your CMS and theme or template customization
- Familiarity with CSS frameworks (Tailwind, Bootstrap) or preprocessors (SCSS)
- Basic knowledge of SEO best practices
- Experience with Git
