About the Role

Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family, shaping the future of health care for people, businesses, and communities. This is a high-impact, customer-focused role in a leading retail setting, offering the opportunity to work both independently and as a member of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care, and resolving potential service issues.
• Focus on the customer by offering a warm and friendly greeting, maintaining eye contact, and assisting with locating items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions according to company policies.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks.
• Support store opening and closing activities.
• Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational and staying current with updated services and tools.
• Assist pharmacy personnel, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• At least 16 years of age.

Physical Requirements

• Remaining upright on feet for sustained periods.
• Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects (including overhead lifting).
• Visual Acuity: Close visual acuity for activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection of small parts/details.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred but not required).
• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting is preferred.

Pay and Benefits

• Typical Pay Range: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour.
