Sales Development Representative

About the Role

AI CERTs® is seeking a contract, hybrid US Sales Development Representative (SDR) based in Bengaluru. This role offers flexibility for partial work from home. The SDR will focus on prospecting and qualifying leads for AI CERTs® certification offerings in the US market.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospecting and qualifying leads through outbound calls, emails, and social outreach.
• Researching target accounts and identifying decision-makers.
• Generating interest in AI and blockchain certification programs.
• Scheduling meetings or demos for the sales team.
• Maintaining accurate records of interactions and updating the sales pipeline.
• Collaborating with sales and marketing to refine messaging and campaigns.
• Meeting and exceeding activity and conversion targets.
• Representing AI CERTs® in a professional, consultative manner.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• CRM tools and sales engagement platforms (beneficial).

Qualifications

• Strong Inside Sales and Lead Generation skills, including experience with outbound prospecting and qualification.
• Effective Communication skills, including clear spoken and written communication and active listening.
• Solid Sales skills, with the ability to handle objections, nurture prospects, and support deal progression.
• Business Development capabilities, including market research, account mapping, and relationship-building with key stakeholders.
• Prior exposure to EdTech, professional certification, or technology solutions (AI, blockchain, or related fields) is an advantage.
• Ability to work to targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
